APPLICATION FOR NBCSA PUPILLAGE 2026

For all applicants who have not as yet been admitted as an advocate.

In order for us to assess your application, we need the following documents to be uploaded (PDF format only):

  1. Certified copy of your degrees
  2. Certified copy of your Identity Document
  3. Copies of any other degrees, certificates or documents
  4. Copy of updated CV
  5. Police clearance certificate
  6. All fees are to be paid once off, after application is approved, monthly payments can also be arranged

Important Notes:
  • The NBCSA will only provide a training supervisor once you have provided copies of all documents required by the Provincial LPC and paid the pupillage fee.
  • A pupil shall not have any pecuniary interest in any legal practice without prior written consent of the Council.
  • If employed during pupillage, the training period is 18 months.
  • All rules regarding practical vocational training contracts apply as per the Legal Practice Council regulations.
