In order for us to assess your application, we need the following documents to be uploaded (PDF format only):

Certificate of Good Standing from the LPC
All fees are to be paid once off, after application is approved, monthly payments can also be arranged

I will accept notices of any proceedings emanating from the National Bar Council of South Africa (NBCSA) at the email address given above.

I am aware that I may have to undergo an interview, which may be done in person or may be conducted virtually.

I confirm that on being admitted as a prospective candidate legal practitioner/candidate legal practitioner, I will adhere to the rules and ethics of the NBCSA.

I confirm that I will partake in the prescribed ongoing education program in the province selected above.

I will pay the prescribed fee for training, which is R12,000.00 (Twelve Thousand Rand) inclusive of lecturing fees but excluding travelling and other expenses.

Important Notes:

This application is for advocates who have already been admitted to practice.
All documents must be certified where required.
Certificate of Good Standing from the LPC is mandatory.
Applications are subject to review and approval by the NBCSA Training Committee.
You may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process.
